Editing Processes

This effect was used quite often throughout the video to create a more smooth  transition from frame to frame.  Other effects didn't appear as natural or smooth
This use of editing at the start of the video was used to show the name of the song and the artists involved popping up  on the screen one after the other before the real footage starts. This gave the video a more professional look
For this stage of the editing process, I used a cross sweep effect  to give the impression in the video that the text message was sweeping across the screen. This helped make the video more visual and engaging.
I linked the three parts of the text message together so that they all appeared on the screen at the same time.  This helped the appearance of the text message on the screen be more smooth and like a real text message.
Adobe Photoshop was used to create the text message that appears at the end of the video, The text message was originally created on photoshop but I decided in order to make the text message more recognisable and look more of a text, photoshop was used to create the shape and include the text and emojis.
The opacity effect control was used at the very end of the video when the male character appears in the reflection of the window. This was important to show the link between the two characters and to show how all along both people were being deceitful and cheating on eachother. Without the use of this effect, this may have been unclear for audiences.

R&P TASK 18 - Filming and Editing schedules for main and ancillary tasks

R&P TASK 17 - Photoshoot planning for ancillary tasks

R&P TASK 15 - Mock Ancillary Tasks

Digipak Back
Orignally the names of the artists involved in the digipak and song were all in the same font. However  I realised that the  font and colour was unique to Millenium Child, therefore different fonts were added to the other artists.
Digipak Front Cover
The featuring artists text was oringially centered with the other pieces of text,  however it started to get too squashed together, therefore it was moved to the side of the digipak.
Digipak Poster
The 'out now' text was originally positioned diagonally across the poster. However the name of the artist became less prominent and unclear, so it was centered at the top of the poster, where it is still clear and noticeable
 Digipak Inside Cover
The text was originally going to come from the lyrics of the song. However the quote used at the end of the video was  far more effective and also worked well to link my song and music video to the digipak.
Mock Ancillary
This was my original idea for the front cover of my digipak. However I decided it was too compact and looked untidy, therefore the design changed, where I had more space.
